Lightning and reflections please!

Lighting, Layers and Reflections is the name given to this installation. Yes, yes it was built fot the Chrysler Escalade ad... BUT this is for me a fine example, proving a good point that commercial does not mean you have to lower the bar. In my work I somehow always seem to stumble upon this question by my clients and fellow artist. People always assume if it is not soo called "HOLLY ART" then oh thats just not art. Advertising some how is not suppose to carry so much thought or value in art department. I beg to differ - think it, dream it and make it. It is in your hands what work you wanna make and put out there. (and have somebody awesome who can convince the clients in the value of it)
The guy who built them mr Autumn de Wilde is a photographer.  http://autumndewilde.com/

beauty sets you free

Amidst the attention given to the sciences as how they can lead to the cure of all diseases and daily problems of mankind, I believe that the biggest breakthrough will be the realization that the arts, which are conventionally considered ‘useless,’ will be recognized as the whole reason why we ever try to live longer or live more prosperously... said John Maeda. And I couldn't agree more!!

space/light/color

self tought architect luis barragán's work will leave you tranquilised in awe. hes use of light, shape and color is so calmingly beautiful that i can't turn my eyes away. hes own words about work - “it is essential to an architect to know how to see, to see in such a way that vision is not overpowered by rational analysis." and "any work of architecture which does not express serenity is a mistake."
it is amazing that he has done his job following religiously his beliefs. my biggest admiration for that!!!
