come tomorrow i have forgotten you by then

to be honest these images have been taunting me for a year. and i only now manage to post them in my blog. funny how some things that you see click something in your brain and never leave. maybe it's because im apart of this legacy that they move me still so much. most buildings from that era that we have here in estonia in ruins make me sad.. they are like the glimpse of was promised to people but never realised. the magic words of hope better tomorrow that we're preached to nations and nations. and maybe even more so that the people at that time had the courage to believe in a better tomorrow. something that we have lost the ability to do so for now.

these are the monuments of former yugoslavia! (now croatia, serbia, slovenia, bosnia and herzegovina ect.presidet josip tito commisioned then in the 1960s and 70s to commemorate the battle sites of second world war and were the handy craft of amazing artist. they now have lost their value since there is no soviet union to praise and once admired art is left abandoned.
